Kevin J Services has upgraded its accounting software for 2021. This change comes in harmony with the  business name change , going from a sole-proprietorship to an LLC. That was not the only reason, however.  In making the switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online , the business is now in a position to hire employees and keep track of payments made to sub-contractors, something they could not do with the previous accounting software.  Kevin J Services hopes the upgrade in price will be offset with QuickBooks Online invoice automation features, here is why. The accounting department no longer has to manually send unpaid invoice reminders until they are past 30 days due Recurring Invoices are now available, freeing up staff labor to do other tasks 8 days into changing the software, the business has already seen late invoices paid up to date and faster overall payments made before they become late.  Kevin Johnson's Task and Errand Services will soon be phased out. Don't worry if you live in their service areas... the business is only phasing out its name. As the business moves forward, there was growth in 2020 from 2019, and this growth has lead to a change when it comes to the business entity.  Kevin J Sevices LLC will now serve as the business name, and by early January 2020, clients will start seeing this show up on invoices, emails, and other areas of the business. The domain name will not change.  A lot of factors were considered when making the change including: Separating the legal liability from the owner's personal assets. Planned hiring of service providers, contractors, and a marketing team in 2021 Plans to get bonded and insured We really believe that we will continue to grow, and we want to be able to make transitions easily by planning ahead with foresight.
